All the postings about how nature is changing (Thailand showing record numbers of turtle hatches, giraffes wandering the streets of Nelspruit, etc) got me thinking...
Do we need to have a global lockdown more regularly, perhaps every ten years or so? No diseases, just a lockdown, for nature to correct the world a bit...

This is true, but can we be locked down for 10 years? I just hope we have learned something, and will try to keep doing that which we know now works to help nature recover..... welcome back - I can't seem to log into my blog, I can see it, but can't remember how to access it to post.... maybe I should do a new one, with my 250+ poems....
Very true mate but looking at it from a different perspective, perhaps if this virus thins out a few of the muppets nature will get an even better chance to recover. (Wishful thinking) Unfortunatly I foresee a sudden descent on coast etc by all sorts and it will all go to Kak again
@Max...you need to sign into Blogger with the correct email address.
I didn't mean that we need a 10yr long lockdown, rather that we perhaps need one every ten years... :-)
@Peter...I hear you. We actually need something like another world war, something that we can't just lock each other down for a few weeks to take care of. And yes, I fear the worst for the coast when this lockdown is lifted...it is going to take a hammering from all the fuckwits...
