Update on Lucky Dube murder...

Today, only four days since Lucky Dube was gunned down at his home in what police are saying was an attempted carjacking, four suspects are appearing in court on various charges ranging from attempted murder, murder and possession of an unlicenced weapon.

It amazes me to see that, when they want to and when they get their fingers out their collective arses, that our police force can actually get something done quickly.

Or is it just as a result of every South African's favourite reggae star being assassinated?

Bro,I would suggest the latter - media pressure got them off their arses - not their conscience's!
If theyd had a conscience you and Steph would actually have received help..................

I think it is a question of PR and image. This singer was also popular overseas and the story needed a "happy" ending at least to appear normal for the overseas crowd. Yup, it seems they catch the "bad guys" in a few select cases.

Guys, is there always a conspiracy theory? Sometimes they just get lucky! How many times in the past have the black population complained when a white person is raped / murdered / kidnapped, and the perpetrators are caught quickly? often! It's just a matter of luck, sometimes the cops get the breaks...
I know that you were hard done by when it came to your incident... but that's the way it goes.

"...that's the way it goes"...? Thanks for the support...

How come, then, it's *only* when the black population cries out that something is done, and not when the white population shouts foul? By your own words, that's how it goes...
