Daft Question, or Idea, of the Week...
could be a new regular posting here, or at least as regularly as I can come up with one. If you can answer the question, or provide an explanation as to why the daft idea might exist, please do. The more ridiculous the answers, the better, I suppose...
So, here's the first:
Why is it that, in a pack of pork or beef bangers (sausages, as some people may call them) there is always eight in the packet, and always two lots of four strung together? (next time you buy bangers, count them)...

Average family is 4 (four), unless you happent to be of African origin, in which case..... OK I won't go there.
So, average family is 4. @ bangers each means you only have to unfreeze 1 pack for a meal.
Then, 2 x 4 = 8. Sausages are made in strings of 12 - 16 at a time.
The guys who pack them in can't count beyond 4 (maybe beacuse 1 finger is normally in his nose), so they get cut up into strings of four each.
There you go. Easy when you know how.
Salagatle!
Yep think Max has got it there! However if you live in Bonnie Scotland you will find your sausages while indeed coming in packs of 8 are not often joined in strings of four. This is because our sausage of choice is Square! Ahh Lorne sausage on a roll with brown sauce. It's the only thing I miss eating as a veggie!
Square sossie's? HAHAHAHA, thats like having round bananas, or tapered peas or.....
Salagatle!
Trust you two to come up with the logical answer...sheesh. I worked that out beforehand. Do you think I'm that daft?
Actually, don't answer that...
